- Great qualityIn the past I bought whole sides of leather on line for making my knife sheaths. obviously, one cannot hand pick the leather for quality. Even though I have bought "premium" leather, it still was not the best. I had some waste, soft spots, brand marks, range marks, etc. However, the 6/7oz leather from USAknifemaker, is the best. There is no waste. I buy the 12" X 24" and get up to six large knife sheaths and eight to 10 small sheaths. As long as the quality remains the same, I will continue to buy my leather from this web site.

These leather squares are top grade leather hand cut at the local Tandy store just for us. We get good cuts with no significant flaws. All leather will have natural character that adds to the beauty so you should expect some grain variation. We will make sure you don't get range marks, hard, soft or thin spots.
