Kydex, Concealex, and Boltaron are thermo molding plastics used it for making sheaths. Kydex becomes pliable when heated to around 225 degrees Fahrenheit, and can be formed around a knife. When it cools to room temperature it will hold the shape of the knife it was formed around.
