Evenheat Kiln Free Shipping Terms

Evenheat Kiln free shipping includes shipping cost, residential fees, and potential liftgate service fees within the contiguous United States. Free shipping will be based on Standard UPS and Motor Freight. Any form of expedited shipping will be paid by the customer. Shipping for replacement parts or upgraded parts after purchase will be paid for by the customer.

To be clear contiguous United States excludes shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. Orders being sent outside the contiguous United States our Internationally the customer will be subject to all shipping cost.

 

Outside the lower 48 When checking out, the shipping charges in the shopping cart will not be accurate!

ICON Controller

The Icon control is based on Bartlett Instruments Spark platform and is fitted with special limits thermocouples for precise temperature sensing and non-metallic faceplates for excellent Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett mobile App.

The LT's were designed and tested in 2023 with the help of numerous independent/beta testing sites. These folks were given free-reign to modify the Icon control software and hardware to meet their standards of high performance at low temperature. They nailed it and we implemented their recommendations.

The Icon is built around Bartlett's new Spark platform and brings touchscreen design to the market at a lower price point.

It should be noted that all beta evaluation, testing and modifications were performed on LT's with Quiet Drive Solid State relay configurations only.

The Icon / Spark was rigorously field-tested by Bartlett, Evenheat and others over the latter course of 2023. Programming was found to be clean and simple. User interaction with the display was deemed excellent. As expected our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system performed beautifully.

As with all Evenheat control designs, the Icon adds to an existing control platform with improvements like low-error Special Limits thermocouples for precise temperature sensing and non-metallic faceplates for excellent Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett mobile App.

The Icon brings outstanding performance and value to the marketplace.

Evenheat LT 27 Heat Treat Oven – Precision for Serious Knife Makers

The Evenheat LT 27 is a precision-engineered tempering oven designed to meet the high demands of heat treaters and knife makers. Built to fit seamlessly atop any 27” LB, KO, or KF models, it can also function as a standalone unit on your workbench. Please note: the LT Series ovens are not compatible with KH models.

The LT 27 is powered by a 120V electrical system, delivering up to 1200°F (650°C) of temperature precision—perfect for tempering steel and other materials to exact hardness levels. The oven features specialized limits thermocouples, ensuring accurate temperature control throughout the heat cycle, and the Evenheat Icon control system is optimized for precise low-temperature operations.

This oven is available in three depths: 18”, 22.5”, and 27”, allowing you to choose the size that best fits your workshop and tempering needs.

Power Interrupt Switch

Automatic power interrupt removes power from all heating elements as the lid is opened and reapplies power as the lid is closed.

The switch used for this feature is a true safety switch and is designed specifically for safety applications. Those wishing to enter the kiln during firing should strongly consider requesting this option as an added measure of safety.

Quiet Drive Solid State

Solid state relays are special switches used to turn the heating elements on and off. Solid state relays enhance control performance, extend the life of the heating elements and are expected to last the life of the kiln.

Our Quiet Drive Solid State relays can turn the heating elements on and off up to 60 times per second as opposed to traditional mechanical relays that tend to be limited to about once every 10 seconds. This fast response time translates into tighter and more precise temperature regulation.

Evenheat uses special solid state relays that will only switch the heating elements on and off when the AC voltage is at 0V. It's called "Zero Crossing" and our heating elements love it and they show that love by lasting longer!

Solid state, by its nature, has no moving parts (that's why it's called solid state). No moving parts mean nothing to wear out and nothing to replace. Unlike traditional mechanical relays, our solid state relays are expected to last the life of your kiln.

Knife Dogs Blade Fixture - 4.5" W x 5.9" D

Our Knife Dogs Blade fixture was designed to fit all the heat treat ovens we sell. They're designed to provide ample space for foil inflation while being absolutely rock solid and stable. You won't have to work around these and they certainly won't fall over. The KD fixture can hold up to 3 Blades for heat treating.

Evenheat MK 1 Blade Fixture - 5 1/4" x 5 1/4"

Our MK1 Blade fixture was designed for our KH line of knife ovens, but they can also be used in the KF Line. They're well designed and provide ample space for foil inflation while being absolutely rock solid and stable. You won't have to work around these and they certainly won't fall over. The MK 1 can hold upto 4 Blades for heat treating.
