This tap wrench is designed to chucked up into a drill press or by traditional hand use. The advantage to chucking these in a drill press (and then turning by hand - no power is turned on) is you have a nice vertical hole that is plumb to your work and you don't bend the tap. Less breakage. You can also use this as a typical tap hand wrench. Very handy.
