I use Dykem on every knife I make. I dye the edge and scribe the width of the blade I want to grind to. I also use it on sheets or bars of steel when I am tracing my patterns and I scribe around the patterns.

This is a new package I hadn't seen before. It has a cool felt tip applicator. No more brush splash! I got a bad batch of this in initially. Dykem replaced it with fresh stuff. I tried this felt tip applicator and that's what I'm going to use in my shop now.
