NOTE: These knife blanks are already heat treated and hardened. All you need to do is add a handle and maybe a sheath. We suggest adding a pair of g10 scales in 3/16" or 1/4" thick material for the handle. You could also add some handsome wood scales from our extensive assortment or even from your own stock.

NOTE: The blade pictured is typical of the pattern and style knife blank you are ordering. The pattern will not be exactly shown as the pattern will vary slightly from blade to blade as it does with all Damascus steel knives. These blades are already heat treated and etched.

NOTE: These Damascus blades have a mild steel tang handle welded to the Damascus blade. This handle is well behind where any bolster would be. This is a common practice to save the additional expense of having a Damascus steel tang that is covered by a handle and would not show anyway. The handle strength is not compromised with this method and the mild steel will be just as strong, maybe stronger than the Damascus portion of the blade.
