Handle connector
This is the middle female connector only. 8-32 thread screws are sold separately.
This is one part of a 3 part connector system. This middle part is threaded with a 8-32 thread (#8 size screw and 32 threads per inch) sold separately.
This is machined from 300 series stainless steel for corrosion resistance. These are often referred to as stand offs in the electrical industry.
This connector system is used with a full tang knife. The middle part is placed in a drilled 1/4" hole in the tang. The handle scales are placed over the tang and with matching holes, screws are threaded into the connector from both sides. Screws are usually counter sunk and flush with the handle surface. Often, the screws and the middle connector may need to be ground slightly down to size.
