3/8 Thunderstorm Kevlar - Knife Handle Material

This material is an industrial composite of kevlar, brass wire, and a very strong resin.

It is rated for up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, which is much higher than standard Micarta's.

For use, we suggest sanding it down smooth with very fine sand paper. We tried to buff it to give that glossy/shiny finish, but it didn't take to the buffing compound very well. Or, polishing with a terry cloth rag does a good job of grabbing and breaking off the fibers and wires and leaves a nice finish.
