This brick is rated 2600F and is the "soft" type that can be shaped by hand tools.
This brick can be used to make the micro "one brick forge" Wayne Goddard invented some time ago. In practice, the one brick forge is more commonly made with 2 or 4 bricks wired together. We suggest using ITC-100 painted on the interior to significantly improve the efficiency of your forge. ITC-100 is simply mixed to a light slurry with water and painted on with a hand brush. Alternately it is spritzed on with a spray bottle.
