Tip: This tape can stay on a blade for a long time and then easily peel off with leaving a bunch of gunk. If you have used duct tape or regular masking tape you have spent a lot of time cleaning up adhesive residue. This tape doesn't do leave that gunk on your blade. It's bit pricey for sure, but worth it. Look around the net and when you see shop pics of knives in progress and look how many of the experienced guys use this blue tape.
