Evenheat uses only high quality Sandvik/Kanthal heating element wire in all of products. The Ten Cubed is equipped with Sandvik A-1 alloy that is designed specifically for high temperature applications.
We wind our heating elements on our own special machinery to ensure consistency and tight tolerance.
Heating elements eventually burn out. It's just the nature of how they work. You can wait until yours burns out and then order a replacement or you can have one on hand when it does.
Tip: If you have experimented with an oxygen reduced atmosphere in your oven (pumping Aargon into it) and have since stopped, you should expect shortened life from your heating element. Using non-oxygen atmosphere strips the heating element of it's protective oxidized coating and then using it an an oxygen atmosphere burns the element up.
