This is C-Tek Resin infused Honeycomb handle material. It has the ability to reflect light which gives a great new design technique added into your knife making process.  It is easily sanded and works similar to wood.

The material is finished using basic sanding processes and can be brought up to a high polish finish.  Care should be taken when surface sanding or flattening the materials. The Resin has a heat deflection temperature of approximately 200 degrees. It becomes more delicate as it is reduced in thickness and we recommend bonding it to a liner when going below .100”. This is due to the fact that the honeycomb is only bonded together where one side of each cell meets the other. If it is heated up beyond 250 degrees during sanding it will begin to soften slightly but will return to its original state when cooled.
